Fall Trail

The rich fall colors invite the viewer into this unique piece. Painted on glass using oil paint and layers of crystals (carnelian, jasper and garnet), peppered with copper shavings all embedded in four layers of resin. The depth and shine of the resin layers creates a three-dimensional quality. The artist paints these scenes in reverse so that the depth is crafted in sequential layers. The piece can be mounted on stand-off hardware so that the painting floats several inches away from the wall and creates even more depth. Lighting options enhance the sparkle, texture and depth of this one-of-a-kind painting.
